Job hunting is hard enough without having to be a data entry clerk. You find a great job, and then you have to copy the title, the company, the link, and the description into a spreadsheet. It's boring, it's slow, and it kills your momentum. We built this Jobstacky browser extension to fix that. One click, and you're done.
Found a job on LinkedIn? Indeed? Glassdoor? Just click the button. Our extension grabs all the details-title, company, location, description-and saves them to your dashboard instantly. No more switching tabs, no more Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. It does the grunt work for you.
This isn't just a bookmark. It connects directly to your Jobstacky tracker. As soon as you save a job, it's in your pipeline. You can set the status to "Applied" or "To Do" right there. It keeps your workflow smooth so you can focus on the important stuff: getting hired.
We've all been there. You see a job that looks familiar, but you can't remember if you applied last week. Our extension flags jobs you've already saved, so you don't waste time doubling up. It keeps your list clean and your sanity intact.
We support the big players-LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter-and we're adding more all the time. Even if you're on a smaller niche site, you can still use the extension to quick-add details. It's designed to be your sidekick, no matter where you look for work.
The faster you can save jobs, the more time you have to tailor your resume and write cover letters. Use the extension to batch your search: spend an hour just finding and saving roles, then switch gears to applying. It's a productivity hack that actually works.
It's free. It's private. It doesn't sell your data. It just sits in your browser and waits for you to find a job. When you do, it's ready to help. Simple as that.
Stop drowning in tabs. Get the extension and make your job search 10x faster.

The extension works best with major job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and ZipRecruiter. It also works with many company career pages, though some customization may be needed for less common sites.
The extension generally fetches data accurately. However, issues may arise when extracting information from websites that display job postings in a two-column layout. For the best results, it is recommended to open the job description in full-page view.
This means Gemini is temporarily unable to process the request. Please update or replace your Gemini API key, then try extracting the job details again. If the problem continues or you see another error, please contact support.
Absolutely. The extension only accesses job data when you explicitly activate it.
Yes, the Jobstacky browser extension is completely free to install and use for all students and professionals.
Navigate to any job posting, click the extension icon, and select "Extract Job Details". Review the information and click "Save Job" to add it to your dashboard.
No, you can edit the job after saving it to your tracker.
Yes, you need to be logged into your Jobstacky account to save jobs to your personal tracker.
We regularly update the extension to ensure compatibility with major job boards and to add new features based on user feedback.
Most jobs are detected automatically, but some career websites use technologies that prevent browser extensions from accessing the job details. For example, some sites load the job description inside an iframe or use heavily customized page layouts that we don't currently support. If JobStacky can't extract the job information: - Make sure you're on the actual job details page, not the search results page. - Refresh the page and wait a few seconds before trying again. - Ensure the job details have fully loaded before opening the extension. If it still doesn't work, don't worry. The extension automatically sends us an anonymous error report along with the job URL. We review every reported page, investigate the issue, and add support whenever possible. If we can reproduce the problem, we'll work on a fix and get back to you. Note: If the job page opens correctly but JobStacky can't read the job details, it is usually because of how the website is built, not because of anything you did.
Yes.
Not yet. At the moment, JobStacky is designed to save and track applications as you apply for them. If you want to track an older application, you can create it manually in the Job Tracker. You can paste the job description, a recruiter email, or similar information, and JobStacky will extract the available details whenever possible. Some job descriptions may require a little formatting, especially if they come from emails or PDFs, since our parser works best with structured job descriptions. We're considering adding bulk import and historical application import in the future. If this is a feature you'd find useful, let us know. We prioritize new features based on user feedback.
This feature is currently being tested and is expected to launch by the end of July.
Yes, you can add it in the notes.
Yes, in Excel.
Not yet. Today, you update your application status manually in JobStacky. This gives you full control over your data and does not require access to your email account. We are exploring automatic status tracking for the future. Since this would require access to your emails, privacy is our biggest priority. One approach we're considering is an open source connector that integrates directly with the JobStacky API, allowing you to decide whether to connect your email account. We're also exploring features such as automatic job applications and deeper integrations with job boards. These are ideas we're actively researching, but we don't have a release date to share yet.
Free plan: 150 jobs. Pro plan: 2000 jobs.
Yes. You can delete individual job applications at any time. If you no longer wish to use JobStacky, you can also permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Yes. You can store multiple resumes in JobStacky and choose the appropriate one for each job application. This also helps you keep track of which resume you used when applying for a specific role.
Yes.
No. You can create and manage job applications directly from the JobStacky web app without installing the browser extension. However, we recommend using the browser extension whenever possible. It extracts job information directly from the job page, making the process faster and generally more accurate than copying and pasting content into the web app. Like any software, neither method is perfect. Occasionally, a job page may not be parsed correctly because of the way a website is built. If that happens, don't worry. You can always edit the extracted information manually, and if you're using the extension, we'll automatically receive an error report so we can investigate and improve support.
No. JobStacky does not automatically read or save the pages you visit. The extension only reads a job page after you explicitly click Extract Job Details. Even then, the extracted information is only shown to you and is not saved to your JobStacky account unless you click Save Job. You are always in control of what gets saved. Simply visiting a website or opening a job page does not send or store any job information.
Yes. AI features are completely optional. You can use JobStacky as a regular job tracker to save applications, track your progress, manage resumes, add notes, and export your applications without using any AI features. If you choose to use AI-powered features, they're available when you need them, but they're never required to use JobStacky.
