Earlier, Jobstacky was part of app.howtoabroad.com. Today, it operates as a separate entity focused specifically on the job tracking and career development segment. Jobstacky is operated under StackyHUB LLC, Delhi.

Many people apply to companies and then face an uncertain wait period without clear communication about their application status. Worse still, talented candidates often get fired or face professional setbacks simply because they didn't receive proper feedback or updates from employers after applying.

Our primary mission is to make companies accountable for their hiring processes. We believe that every job applicant deserves transparency, timely communication, and respect throughout the application and hiring journey. By providing tools for job tracking, resume building, and career assistance, we empower professionals to take control of their career narrative and ensure that employers maintain professional standards in their recruitment processes.

What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

Comments

All comments are anonymous and are posted as anonymous users. But if we receive a spam or a question based on the comment, we can associate it with the user and the user can be banned or marked for spam. We do not store your IP address as of now.

Media

The photo you store in resume or profile picture is not public and is private to you only.

Contact forms

Contact forms are private to logged in user. When you use it your email should be automatically populated in it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep track of the user and to provide the basic functionality of the website and is used for logging into the chrome extension as well.

Jobstacky is a job tracking and career development platform designed to help professionals manage their job applications and build their careers through AI-powered tools and resume building features.

All data is securely stored on Azure EU servers with authentication managed via Google Firestore for enhanced data privacy and compliance.

Personal data is only collected when you voluntarily provide it. No additional personal data is collected without your consent. Any processing of personal data beyond legally permitted use will only occur based on your explicit consent.

Duration of Data Storage

Job tracking data and professional information is retained as long as your account is active. Users have the right to delete their accounts at any time. When you request account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from Jobstacky's database. Additionally, if your account also exists in the university domain of StackyHub LLC, that account will also be removed. The only thing that will not be removed will be your subscriptions.

We require access to the active tab only to read its HTML content for extracting job information (e.g., job title, company, salary).

We access cookies solely from Jobstacky to manage your login session. No third-party cookies are accessed, collected, or stored.

Data Handling

• No data is transmitted unless you explicitly click "Extract Job Details."
• Data is saved only when you choose to click "Add Job Data."
• We do not store any personal or private user information—only the job-related details you choose to save.
• To improve compatibility with job websites, the extension automatically sends limited diagnostic information if a job extraction fails. This may include the job posting URL, browser and extension version, and technical error details.
• Diagnostic information is used solely to investigate and resolve extraction issues. We do not collect the contents of the webpage, login credentials, form inputs, or other personal information from the visited website as part of these reports.

This extension is built with your privacy in mind, ensuring that only explicitly shared information is processed or stored.
